Average hotel—common areas large for Europe. Room not ready when we got to the door for maintenance, so they switched rooms. Specifically asked for no housekeeping and they did it anyway. Had a great stay here. Staff very helpful and friendly. Davide Giacopuzzi provided great service in the bar and restaurant. Food and drink very good, Davide made some excellent cocktails and a great selection of wine from local area. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.Had a great stay here. I really like hiltons, just for full disclosure, and i generally have solid, predictably good experiences, but this particular hotel was something different. And i managed Marriott hotels for over 30 years so I’ve pretty much seen everything there is to see. Check in was fast, friendly and unhurried. I can’t recall his name but It was a flawless guest experience. My sister and I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Bologna north and it was a fantastic experience. In the bar and restaurant Vincenzo R and Davide G. took wonderful care of us, the food and drinks were amazing! The front desk helped us with bags, ordered cabs and had a friendly hello every time we passed.
