I stayed at the FlyOn Hotel because of its proximity to Bologna Airport, but unfortunately the location is more convenient on paper than it is in reality.The hotel is in a fairly unappealing area and, despite appearing very close to the airport, it isn’t particularly easy to get to. So early check in is 50 Euro. The sink has zip ties holding it together, carpets are dirty, we found hair in our bathroom. Instead of compensation they offered to clean it. But that doesn’t help the inconvenience of me not being able to sleep until I shower. They offered Netflix but you can’t even login since the TV is not connected. Never experienced such a uncomfortable night. The bed should have been obsoleted years ago.One flat stained pillow. I have been to this hotel several times in the past, finding it nice and handy near the airport when I need to catch an early flight. This time unfortunately I have not been satisfied at all. FlyOn Hotel is a practical choice since we need a stay near Bologna Airport for a 0600 AM flight. The rooms are generally spacious enough for a comfortable overnight stop. The veranda in the room and the provision of slippers were a plus. However, there were only two thin pillows on the bed. The foods were great!
