Promised a refund, but didn’t get it
We stayed here one night in July. The water didn’t work at all during our stay, something the staff already knew before our arrival but failed to mention. This meant we couldn’t use the toilet, shower, or any water facilities.We were promised a partial refund if we emailed them, which we did several times, but they never replied.Extremely disappointing experience — would not recommend this hostel.We stayed here one night in July. Top-floor rooms need better AC for summer
I was planning to stay just under a week at Combo at the end of July 2024. The heat was pretty extreme, even for someone from Australia, and the 20min walk in direct sun to get there from the station was pretty brutal. However, it didn't end there. My shared dorm room was boiling as it was on the top floor, so I asked my roommates why they didn't have the AC on. Nice place to stay and hang out, if you’re prepared to walk/bus
My room at combo was very comfortable. I loved that there was coffee and a bar for the garden and the property. It was a little hard to find the location, and ended up needing help from other travelers I met. Comfortable, spotlessly clean location close to the station
A very friendly welcome in this super-clean and well-run accommodation. The multilingual staff could not have been more helpful. They provided excellent recommendations on where to eat and other tips on visiting this historic city. Good bar and breakfast.
