We chose the Best Western Hotel Piemontese mainly because of its excellent location, directly opposite Bergamo railway station, which was very convenient for getting around.The rooms are fairly basic and nothing particularly special, but they were adequate for our stay. Very bad hotel, the first thing that we found when we arrived at this hotel was a lady complaining that expensive clothes and watches are missing from her room! The receptionist was heavily smelling alcohol and he looked under the influence of drugs! Never, ever stay here. Siren went off at 3am in room due to faulty wiring; I was told I had to have no power!!!

Lovely hotel, room a little dated but good size, very comfy bed, air con, opening windows and a kettle. Our bicycles were parked in a locked room in the hotel garage. Service was great.
