  I spent a weekend with friends at the Academia Residence for a concert at the nearby Chorus Life Arena, and our experience was amazing. A comfy quadruple room, warm, clean, and with access to a beautiful terrace overlooking Città Alta and a quiet green area, it didn't even feel like being in the city center.   Arrived well past check in time but was still well greeted by the night staff, was given a map to the town and spent time explaining our dining options for the evening. The rooms were spacious and clean.   We arrived late in the night and the reception was closed so we had instructions on how to enter. They were clear instructions on how to find the key but once we were inside we could not find the room easily as there is no signage on which floor the rooms are etc. How water take a very long time to come and password to the wifi is only upon entrance on a sign on the wall.   Very good location between old town and new town. 10 minutes walk to Citta Alta. Clean, large and nice rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy to get to and from Bergamo airport by bus.
