We traveled Tuscany extensively and lodged in only 5 star hotels. The Monestero di Cortana was awaiting our arrival. The hotel sits high on the hill with fabulous views. The hotel is fabulous. We have stayed at a number of high end hotels and this was one of the best. Great location with restaurants nearby. Staff were excellent and helpful. Took the train to Florence one day which was very good.Stunning breakfast every day. Good pool for cooling down.Small negatives:- no chest of drawers or free shelves in the room.
