  PAPER FOUR-STAR, REAL-LIFE WRECK – 1/5

  OVERALLHotel Diamante isn’t “a bit tired” or “mid-renovation”. It feels run-down and grubby in a way that suggests the whole place should have been shut for a proper strip-out, deep clean, and rebuild long ago. Sleeping in the room is possible, but the wider complex kills any sense of confidence.LOCATION – 1/5Industrial sprawl, logistics sheds, and road infrastructure dominate the view. Fine for a one-night pit stop if you’re just passing through, but there’s nothing remotely “relaxing” about the setting, and it does the hotel no favours when the basics on-site aren’t nailed.ARRIVAL & PARKING – 1/5The underground car park is not simply “closed”. It looks dodgy and, frankly, unsafe. The vibe is “do not go anywhere near this”, not “temporary inconvenience”. Even if the intention is maintenance, the visual reality is a proper shambles and it drags the entire experience down before you’ve even got to reception. The outdoor parking ends up being the default, and the whole arrival flow feels unmanaged rather than professional.CLEANLINESS & MAINTENANCE – 1/5External areas and service zones look neglected. Rubbish, overflowing bins, and general mess show up where guests can see them. That’s not a design choice, it’s basic upkeep failing. Once that trust goes, everything else starts to feel suspect, even if the bed linen itself looks clean.PROMISE VS REALITY – 1/5EV charging is a no-show. Simple as that: it’s either there or it isn’t, and it isn’t. The “pool” situation is also misleading in practice: any water facilities belong to the paid Bellavita sports/wellness bit next door, not the hotel as a straightforward included amenity. A cinema exists in the wider complex, but that’s just neighbouring infrastructure — it doesn’t fix a hotel that can’t deliver the basics it implies.PUBLIC AREAS – 2/5Reception and corridors look superficially presentable, but the atmosphere is dead and clinical. It feels less like a functioning hotel and more like an abandoned business complex that happens to have a front desk still operating.ROOM – 2/5The room photographs “okay” at first glance, but it’s austere and worn once you’re actually in it. One detail says it all: the TV is wall-mounted with cables dangling visibly down the wall. That’s not “character”; that’s lazy finishing and a dead giveaway that nobody’s sweating the details. The space does the bare minimum and nothing more.BATHROOM – 4/5The bathroom is the one part that looks genuinely updated and properly clean. Modern tiles, decent shower setup, and generally the only area that feels like it matches a newer standard. Sadly, one good bathroom can’t rescue a place where the wider condition is this grim.VALUE FOR MONEY – 1/5Price doesn’t matter much when core expectations aren’t met. Basic trust factors — cleanliness outside the room, credible maintenance, honest amenity expectations, and a safe-feeling arrival — simply aren’t there.VERDICT – 1/5Hard pass. Even for a motorway stopover, better options will exist at similar money. The room and bathroom can get you through a night, but the overall state of the place — especially the parking/underground areas and external upkeep — makes it a hotel I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

  They rip-off their guest with a terrible service and accommodation

  Terrible hotel and accommodation, large black hair in the Bidee, Trashcan under the desk not empty by arrival and 3 nights later still full, Shower silicon is molded.Breakfast package is disaster, 2 slices biscuit, 3 mini crackers, 2 honeybisquit, 1 sweet snack a terrible tasting apple mouse that you don't serve for breakfast, a nougat creme in a damage package, 1 marmalade. Tetra Pak orange jus and a bottle of still water. this for 12 euro's. Nothing fresh made by the kitchen, all bought in the superstore. For the extra sandwich, that was also factory made, was one side dry, the other side wet and they charge you 8 euro's extra. In total 20Euro's for a breakfast package. The manager is incompetent, arrogant and dom. Not able to listen and hiding himself behind company policy nonsense. A Tabacci has more charm then the bar, the restaurant looks like a cheap canteen from a refinery. The location is terrible, in the middle of no-where industrial area.I cannot recommend Mazzoccoli, at Hotel Diamante, responded to this review Dear Roger F, we are sorry what you are saying is not how things happened.She asked to have breakfast at 5.30am and was told that it was not possible, we informed her that we could organize a breakfast box and we shown you what the basket contain and you accepted it, If he didn't agree with what was proposed you could simply refuse instead of accepting and telling a bunch of lies.

  very nice hotel, clean and new, very good breakfast. the only blame was that i was charged a bottle of water from the minibar without use it...probably the cleaning staff was confused. however the receptionist offered to buy us coffee during our check out.

  Accommadations were good. Room was comfortable. The employees at the reception did their job, but not a warm greeting or asked us if we enjoyed our stay. Good for an overnighter. Industrial area. Nothing around the hotel. Breakfast was good. No employees to greet us at breakfast.

  Big room ; big bathroom ; everything was very clean ; also big parking ; very near to the main autostrada ; rich breakfast ; rich breakfast and good offering ; I hope I will visit the hotel one more time ; ideal hotel for the outlet shopping.It was an expensive hotel ; I think it is deserving his price
