  I would describe this establishment as more of a hostel than a hotel.   I had to spend two weeks in Montesilvano at Grand Hotel. The rooms were fine, clean and the view was very nice. Would like to thank the maids, the chefs and the staff of the restaurants in the hotel, for their great service.Please change the pillows, too hard. and add some salads and Macedonia to the menu.I had to spend two weeks in Montesilvano at Grand Hotel.   Nice hotel right on the beach. The a/c didn’t work the best but we had a corner room with two balconies so we had a nice ocean breeze to help. Food was excellent and the wait staff was fabulous. The boardwalk offers lots of places to eat and things to do but we are most of our meals at the hotel since it was included.   The hotel is very classy and modern inside despite the old looking exterior. The highlight was the food. It was top quality freshly prepared meals. The food is selected from a paper menu now instead of buffet (during Covid) all guests and staff all wore masks which made you feel very safe. Claudio is the head waiter and is fantastic.   Whilst not outrageously expensive, this place is not cheap. Sadly, it’s heyday was in the 70’s when apparently maintenance and staff training stopped too. Being largely marble and concrete, there is little to absorb sound, so the public rooms are excessively noisy, especially the Sunday night of our stay (29th) when there was an extremely loud party on the ground floor.
