This hotel is located in the centre of Ennis, very close to the famous Cliffs of Moher, The Burren and Bunratty Castle. Shannon airport is only some 20 minutes away by car.

    Lovely stay at a wonderful hotel

    We really loved the atmosphere of the hotel. Our room was almost perfect (except for the parking space right in front of the window). Everything was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. A coffee machine to the provided capsules would have been nice.We´ll surely come back!     Wonderful Stay at The Old Ground

    We had a fabulous short stay at The Old Ground with its old world charm and the warmth and genuine hospitality of all the staff. Our room was really comfortable and spacious, the bathroom spotless and very contemporary and the beds were beyond comfortable. The food, ambience, art and staff in The Town Hall were sublime.     I recently stayed at this hotel with three friends of mine. The rooms were absolutely spectacular- beautifully decorated and nice touches throughout. Walking through the hotel, it is difficult not to stop and admire every piece of art along the way. Everything is so stylish and tasteful. It is well situated right in the centre of town so a perfect location to browse the gorgeous boutiques dotted along the street outside the hotel. We had dinner in the hotel that night and every course I ate was delicious. It was reasonably priced for Michelin star quality. Well done to all the staff and management. Nothing was a problem for them and they were so helpful and professional. We will be back! Maeve.     Best Overall Hotel We Have Stayed At

    As good a hotel as we have ever stayed at! The room was excellent having room A/C controls and a walk-in shower. Every employee was well trained and worked hard to meet our needs. Gracie at the front desk would be payed $1 million euro if she got 1 euro for every question she answered for us. Barbara did a great job with our laundry making an extra effort on a bank holiday to insure that our clothes were returned before departing. Having the Poet's Corner Pub attached was a real plus for us to relax and have a drink whenever we desired, plus the food was excellent (salmon, fish & chips, soups and Poet's Corner toastie). We will be returning next February and will definitely come early before joining a Wild Atlantic Music Tour.
