The hotel is located on the beautiful coastline of County Clare and close to some of Ireland's most visited sites. This country house hotel is an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions which County Clare has to offer, including the awesome Cliffs of Moher, The Ailwee Caves, The Burren, Bunratty Castle & Folk Park, North Kerry and lots of beautiful coastal drives. Ennis town is nearby and Shannon International Airport is about 60 km away.

Guests have a choice of 86 non-smoking rooms, including 14 suites and 10 single rooms, located in two 3-storey buildings with lifts. The reception desk is open round the clock.     Well the cead míle fáilte is alive and kicking in the Armada! From check-in to check-out, what an experience. Gorgeous, comfortable room with seaviews. Friendly, helpful, efficient staff. Excellent food and service throughout our 3-night stay. Live music every night in Johnny Burkes pub with open fires and a friendly barman. Would highly recommend

    My daughter’s wedding was fantastic on every level; spectacular setting, beautiful venue, food quality, service level etc.However, the loveliest aspect was the culture and values reflected in each member of staff.     Just amazing!!! From we arrived, the view and location was a waow factor - we arrived and the lady at reception i have forgotten her name, but she works on reception & her husband is a bar manager in the main bar (2 great people) but may I say that each member of staff were top friendly, nothing was a bother, always smiling and there to help or get what was needed. The food all around was 10/10 a great breakfast selection & great choice of lunch/evening menu's and where to eat, beautiful atmosphere in Johnny burkes, such a unique little bar located in a hotel, cosy and homely. A stunning cafe at the side of hotel with lovely coffee & treats, everywhere from we walked into the hotel all the way through was so nice, clean & welcoming.A beautiful view over the sea from our room, we loved every moment of it & such a great weekend of weather we had.     Just back from our friend's wedding at the Armada Hotel. The food was fabulous and the staff were professional and so friendly. The ceremony was outside on the lawn with magnificent views. We just stated one night but we'll be back as soon as possible for a longer stay.
