Stayed for one night whilst transferring from Malaysian Sabah to Indonesian Kalimantan. It did most things pretty well. Try to get a room away from the nonstop Indonesian traffic. The rooms were a bit tired, food was ok, pool looked alright for a splash, vast breakfast - but we had a plane to catch. In general the hotel was ok, although it was slightly overpriced. The significant issue I had was the standard of bed that was provided. I travel for two months a year and stay in accommodation ranging from backpackers to five star hotels, but the bed in this hotel was by far the worst I have struck for years. Stayed here with a group of 24 for four nights. Great staff. Excellent breakfast. Best of all, very comfortable beds!! Well located. Ordered a boxed breakfast went leaving early by ferry which was very well done indeed. Very happy to recommend.
