  After a night flight we had 7 hours waiting in Manokwari and decided to go to Aston, because its located very close to the airport.   The hotel could be so much more, but is lacking in various areas. There is an odor in the hallways, curtains in the room are quite dusty, AC functions passably at best, and there are no international TV channels.Everything needs to be paid up front, and even if you sign for a meal, they come up to your room and ask you to pay then, and pay in cash.   Reasonable stop over hotel with good amenities and comfortable room

  We stayed here for a day and 1/2 and found the hotel to be reasonably priced, having all the facilities we needed and very friendly staff. We were able to check in to our room incredibly early and a staff member even found two extra pillows for us !   Average - Not worth the money. Marginally better than the Swiss bel

  This hotel is a big sprawling conference centre style hotel, set up on a hill with nice views of the bay. Its is dated, and in need of modernisation. Its about 20% cheaper than the Swiss Bel in town and these are the two best options in Manokwari, but both are vastly overpriced at £40-£60 per night.The food in the restaurant was awful.
