Polite staff but hotel needs better maintenance

Descent hotel. Staff is very nice and polite. But I had 2 issues. 1) the towel had red marks on it. I gave it for wash but surprisingly the towel I received on the 3rd day of my stay again had reddish marks. 2) the drain in the shower was completely blocked the morning I was checking out. I first visited this hotel in April to attend a meeting and was shocked to witness highly unprofessional behavior from a member of the Front Office (FO) team.
