    A Pleasant Surprise

    We stayed here for three days partly to be out of Jakarta and partly to be close to family. The hotel and the mall were both pleasant surprises.Our room was large, with two separate bedrooms plus a sitting area. It was clean with nice towels and comfortable bedding for a change. Also, there was plenty of hot water for showers.The restaurant puts on a good breakfast with mostly Indonesian food. Good coffee and fruit selection were great for me and the kids enjoyed the popcorn and cotton candy machines.The swimming pool was large and clean. My only complaints are that the steps and wooden deck are very slippery for wet feet. As well, having pool towels would be nice so you don't have to get you room towels wet.The mall attached to the hotel is a bit run down, but it offers good pricing on clothes and electronics. I would happily stay here again when in the area.     My husband and I stayed in Bekasi for the first time because my parents' house was here but we wanted to rest and enjoy it. The hotel was comfortable, the food was quite standard, and the service was helpful, like when I asked what food was available today at the restaurant (breakfast) and I met Ms. Cia, she helped me explain very expressively and communicatively so she could make me not ask again because she had helped me to detail it.
