I recently stayed at this hotel in Balikpapan and overall had a pleasant experience, though there are a few areas that could be improved.ProsExcellent Location: The hotel is within walking distance to Pentacity Mall and E-Walk Balikpapan, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. There is also Pantai BSB beach nearby, perfect for a quick stroll or enjoying the sea view.Variety of Food Options: Being so close to the malls means there is no shortage of restaurants and cafes to choose from, catering to both local and international tastes.Affordable Rates: The stay is reasonably priced, making it a good budget-friendly option without sacrificing too much on convenience.Friendly Staff: The hotel staff are warm, responsive, and always make you feel welcome, which adds a personal touch to the stay.ConsCleanliness: The room could have been cleaner upon check-in, particularly the corners and bathroom area.Inconsistent Amenities: Hot water and air conditioning were both inconsistent — sometimes working perfectly, other times fluctuating between too warm or too cold.Noisy Mini Fridge: The mini fridge occasionally made clicking noises, which could be distracting at night.No In-room Ironing Facilities: There is no iron or ironing board available; you need to pay the staff if you want your clothes ironed.Overall ImpressionIf you’re looking for a budget-friendly hotel in a prime location, this is a solid option, especially for short stays or travelers who plan to spend most of their time exploring the city. Good servives and luxury, the reception is very kindly and helpful. Location is very strategic, the price is mid-range level. Breakfast is good taste and i'm enjoying the food. Tiny Hotel inside BSB Mall

Nice tiny hotel inside the biggest department store in Balikpapan. It is not the only hotel in the area. Most of the time the hotel is full. 1st floor rooms, below the lobby, are not equipped with windows.A small meeting room lies next to the restaurant. The service was very great, and our stay was so relaxing. The service was so good, relax and enjoy the experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is close to Pentacity and Ewalk. For the breakfast was pretty good. Would recommend to stay in this hotel.
