The indoor and outdoor pools are ideal for exercise as well as relaxation. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. Refreshing drinks are served at the poolside snack bar.     We stayed at Amora Ubud Boutique Villas for four nights during our trip to Bali, and everything was perfect. The villas overlooking the jungle are beautiful. The pools are slightly shaded, but that’s to be expected given the setting.Ubud is within walking distance if you don’t mind a 30-minute walk, or you can rent a scooter directly from the hotel. Breakfast was very good, and dinner was excellent and reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant.The staff were friendly, attentive, and always helpful. We honestly couldn’t fault anything. We preferred it to the W Bali, where we stayed for the rest of our trip—and Amora offered much better value.     Location is 30 mins by car from Ubud centre. Don’t stay here if you want to be central. This hotel doesn’t allow pick up by transport drivers. They make you use their own which are more expensive.     Honestly didn’t expect to love this place as much as we did, but Amora Valley Pool completely won us over.The villa itself is spotless — really well maintained and tucked away enough that you genuinely feel like you have the place to yourselves. One thing that impressed us (especially in Bali!) was that we had zero issues with mosquitoes or insects the entire stay. Small thing, but it makes such a difference.Room service was responsive in the best way — staff checked in daily without being overbearing, and any time we needed something it was sorted within minutes. That kind of attentiveness is hard to find.Fair warning on the location: it’s about 45 minutes from the city center, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to explore a lot. It didn’t bother us much since there’s a restaurant on-site and a couple of decent spots nearby, but it’s something to plan around.Now, breakfast. We weren’t expecting much honestly, but it blew us away — the variety, the quality, the portions. We looked forward to it every morning.If you’re looking for a proper escape where you can actually relax and feel taken care of, this is it.
