Not What We Hoped For

We were expecting something special. We ended up disappointed. It started with the attitude displayed at checkin desk. The young lady came across as disinterested and bordering on rude. When we got to our room it was clear that the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly with previous guests razor still in the shower, mould in many places in the bathroom,. Reception staff have lot of attitude problems. Check in the way staff was speaking as if he is doing favor giving room.Check out they kept me waiting they said we are checking your room.Althouh I told no consumption from mini bar.No security person at gate.Nobody gave luggage attendance.If your neighbor use flush in his toilet you will its from your room.Reception staff have lot of attitude problems. I had a disappointing experience at this hotel.We arrived early at 6:35 AM and requested early check-in, even offering to pay extra. The staff informed us the room would be ready in about 1 hour. We agreed and went out for breakfast, returning around 8:50 AM. However, the staff on duty had changed, and we were again told the room was not ready and had to wait another hour. Except for the location of this hotel, I cannot seem to figure out how in God’s name is it deemed as a 4-star hotel. With only 1 staff at the reception check in didn’t take long and was pleasant. Booked their “Superior Room” for 3 nights and the moment I walked into the room it looked more like a box shaped room which would put some of the OYO rooms to shame. Superb hotel nice view. Ms Uzma and Ms Varsha were very helpful. Breakfast was very nice and big spread. And very close to colaba street shopping market. Walking distance.
