Great hotel!

Great hotel! Perfect distance from diamond lagoon because it allows for some separation from the crowds and a great head start back. Each room was so nice and private with an amazing view and so dark to see the lights. Their breakfast buffet was the best on the ring road and there resturant for dinner was delicious. This is def one of the over fosshotels in the chain

Bed missing legs, sheets not clean, room weird smell, not worth the price

The sheet is not really cleaned. There are some hairs on the bed that is clearly not mine because they are not the same hair type nor the same hair color. The room also smells a bit weird. The room is not "ready" when we are there because one of the bed is missing a leg and we had to notify the desk about this issue. I don't think this should happen to a hotel that cost almost 480 USD for two nights. Nevertheless, the location is great and 30 minute drive to Skatefall. Unbeatable location and a great little hotel!

An incredible stay! The location was perfect- unbeatable view from the room, super quiet location, convenient to get to- straight off of the ring road and well worth the drive from the airport. This hotel is also a good central location to go to some great spots like Glacier lagoon, Vík and a beautiful nearby canyon. Due to the low light pollution and the area being a beautiful long area of flat land with mountains, hills, and glaciers in the background- the view of the northern lights was unbeatable! Room was fairly large which surprised me! Bathroom was big and spacious with a heated floor, safe, fridge and kettle station provided in the room. Comfy bed with SUPER comfy pillows. TV with all the British channels- which again surprised me! A little balcony area which from my room offered the most incredible view of mountains and glaciers. My only issue with the room is that it took me days to find the heater for the main room as it was hidden behind the curtains, and the main thermostat in the room is actually for the bathroom floor- signage or information for this would've been good as it was a cold room- especially with the wooden floor. Cleanliness was very good in the room- the bathroom was a bit grimy and seemed like it needed a good deep clean but nothing that affected my stay. Slept very well at night due to how quiet it was. Check in and check out was quick, smooth and easy with welcoming, helpful and friendly reception staff. Breakfast was very good- great selection with fresh hot food- everything was catered for! And the view from the breakfast room was also incredible at sunrise. My only negative was that some of the catering staff were quite unfriendly/they seemed like they were quite bored most of the time- which I get as it was quiet but it made it seem a bit awkward to interact with them. Overall I will be returning as this was an incredible stay. Excellent. Clean, friendly staff and could see the Aurora when it was out from the comfort of our porch!

Excellent experience. We saw the northern lights from our room porch and could easily watch for them from the comfort of our room. Would advise reservations for the dining room. Rooms were great and staff was friendly. There was no coffee at breakfast because the coffee machine was broken, a bummer yes but not a deal breaker by any means! The price is not worth it

The quality and the cleanliness of the rooms is not combineable with the price of the rooms. The bath not clean enough and the heater was Not working well. The Safe was not working.
