Váci Street (Budapest's popular city centre shopping street), the Citadel and Statue of Liberty on top of Gellért Hill, Buda Castle and the Budapest Congress Centre are all within easy reach via a 10-minute bus ride or a 30-minute walk. Within a short distance of the hotel guests can admire the loveliest views of Budapest or visit one of the city's famous thermal baths for refreshment and recreation. This was a nice basic hotel approximately a 25 to 30 minute walk from the main visitor attractions. It was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served every morning and although not loads of options to choose from we all found something to eat. The beds were comfortable, although the aircon was a little noisy. Lovely hotel just outside the city, location perfect for walking to the river and city centre areas. Fabulous views from Gellért park just around the corner. Super friendly staff, very comfortable beds. We really enjoyed our stay. A great place to stay. Warm, clean, fresh towels every dsy and a great breakfast. Every tea or coffee you could want for breakfast but that was it. If you wanted a hot drink you had to walk 15 or so minutes to find somewhere. No tea/coffee facilities in any room or lobby which was a shame as only thing you missed at night.Although on a very busy road once windows were closed it was very quiet.Bus… A great place to stay. Room was large and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Breakfast choice was very limited. Location isn’t great, and is situated near a busy road, so can be quite noisy when trying to sleep.
