I stayed here with a friend for a week mid August and we both enjoyed our time there. Our room was in the main building and although it could do with a bit of an update especially in the bathroom ( shower over bath) it was clean and well serviced each day. As we were quite high up we had a view of the sea over the buildings and wasn't far for the reception and the restaurant for breakfast. We had a wonderful stay at the Proteas Blu. The staff were superb, the food great and the rooms spotless. Nothing was ever to much. If you were tired a buggy would take you about but the grounds are so beautiful a slow walk is ideal. A big thank you to the staff who made it so good. See you all next year. First impressions not great, lobby area very sparce and unwelcoming and we had to check ourselves in via a QR code - hardly a 5 star experience, and then we were taken to our seaview room which was very nice (bungalow 524) and loads of storage space.
