The hotel is situated up on a hill in an area overlooking the clear blue Aegean Sea and the Turkish coast. This hotel, established in 1981, took its name from the liquorice plant, which is almost everywhere in the surrounding green area. The beach just in front of the hotel is ideal for kids and relaxation. There are public transport links within a 5-minute walk of the resort while numerous places of interest can be found in the vicinity. Samos Airport is about 6 km from the hotel.

Fabulous location just outside Pythagorio. You do need a taxi at 10 euros each way to the centre though. Beautiful views and peaceful around the pool area usually. Atmosphere in the hotel wasn’t great. Some very rude people and the Manager was particularly ignorant! Other staff were very pleasant. Rooms outdated, but clean. Lovely location
This hotel is a basic Greek 2* so you sort of know what you’re getting. Hotel is dated but it’s very clean, bedding and towels changed regularly. Air con was great. Shower is in the corner of the bathroom with a curtain around but we didn’t have any problems with flooding. Pool area quiet and beds available anytime of the day. Absolutely loved this place a perfect fly and flop. The view is fabulous. A seaview from every room, priceless. The hotel spotlessly clean, room cleaned every day and fresh towels and bedding!
