Kos -the island of Hippocrates- is the third largest island in the Dodecanese after Rhodes and Karpathos, lying close to the Asia Minor coast, between Nisyros and Kalymnos. The climate is mild most of the year and has long hours of sunshine. The hotel is built in the unique style of the traditional Greek island architecture, blending with the natural environment. It is located directly by the sandy beach, only 8 km from the island's International airport and 18 km from the town of Kos with its well-known historical monuments, the great nightlife and the island's harbor.
The holiday village was modernised in 2023. The complex has a lifts and features 569 non-smoking rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services include a cash machine. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. A balcony or terrace is among the standard amenities in the rooms. Guests may securely store their valuables in a safe. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a flatscreen television and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A selection of pillows ensures a comfortable stay. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and bathrobes are on hand in the bathrooms for everyday use. Family rooms are available for parents with children.
The spacious pool area, which includes 4 outdoorpools, is a great place for guests to relax and take a refreshing dip. Even on cool days, swimming is always at option at the indoor pool (for a fee). Kids can splash around in one of the 2 children's pools. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub (for a fee) offer the perfect way to unwind. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The complex offers a range of outdoor sport, including bocce, beach volleyball, basketball and paddle tennis or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking, tennis, crazy golf and archery. With water aerobics or, for a fee, paddle boating, sailing and diving available, fans of water sports have plenty of options to choose from. A wide range of indoor sporting activities are also offered, for example a gym and table tennis or, for a fee, badminton, squash and aerobics. Various wellness options, such as a spa, a sauna, a beauty salon and massage treatments, are offered for a fee. Additional leisure activities include a kids' club, a kids' disco and live music.
Dining facilities include a café, a bar and a lobby bar. Warm hospitality and a cosy atmosphere await guests in 5 non-smoking restaurants. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. Diet meals, gluten-free meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The complex also offers snacks. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. The holiday village offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
