Magical holiday
Myself and a friend stayed at Filoxenia Hotel & Apartments in Poros from 14th Sept for 2 weeks. I have never stayed anywhere with such lovely, patient, understanding hosts - a couple and their son, Dimitri. I say this because after two days, I managed to leave the room leaving the key in the lock inside the room. Excellent place to stay, but not a hotel!
First time we have stayed in a Superior Studio so didn't know what to expect. On the plus side rooms are very clean. Location is great. Mini market and restaurants within 10-15 min walk. On the down side. No shower gel or shampoo etc. Kettle yes but no T bags coffee milk or sugar. Hot plate provided to cook on but no cooking implements utensils etc. Our fault for not checking beforehand I suppose!… First time we have stayed in a Superior Studio so didn't know what to expect. We stayed here end of September-beginning of October very friendly staff very very clean they come in every day to clean and every 3 day to change the sheets and towels. We arrived and found a complementary bottle of water in the fridge and they supply a hair dryer ( so no need to bring one) the cooking facilities are basic but who cooks when there are so many nice places to eat in poros. This is such a beautiful little hotel on the outskirts of Poros. Our room was gorgeous, spotless and spacious, and the views - just WOW! Yes, it is a walk from the centre of town and it's up a steep hill, so if you're not into walking it's not the hotel for you.
