Great stay - made all the better with the service from Nikolas

    rating16 May 2026

We stayed at the start of the season and so there were inevitably a few niggles to over come as the hotel returned to life. However, none of these affected the stay - all of the rooms were superbly clean and maintained daily, with water refreshed daily in the room - great for when you had been out all day. The location couldn't have been any better. Right on the main square there was plenty of choice for food and drinks, also with easy access to the buses (we used two for excursions) and the seafront was mere metres down the road. All of the staff were lovely and pleasant, though I have to mention Nikolas (I hope I have spelt that right!) - he helped us really get the most of our week, helping us arrange a hire car, giving us insight on some unique places to dine but most of all, he rescued us. When one of our group lost their passport, our travel company were fairly slow to act and respond. Nikolas was helping us phoning the airport, the bus company and guiding us to the rep office. He managed to not only locate the passport, but he also arranged for its safe return. As an early riser, I went for an early morning walk pre-breakfast on routes that Nikolas had suggested and felt safe at all times, with the 24 hour receptionist greeting me every morning. I would recommend if you are a light sleeper, using ear plugs as it could be a little until the restaurants close in the evening, though after that, it was quiet - with super comfy beds! Overall, a really enjoyable stay and would definitely return (if I had enough annual leave!).

No AC or Electricity at times! 😞

    rating06 Sept 2025

Nice, clean, friendly staff. My wife and I liked the hotel and location. My major complaint would be that each room is allowed only “one” key to ensure that you don’t run AC when out of the room. You have to insert the key in a control device when you enter to allow AC, lights, and TV to operate. At first it didn’t seem like that big of a problem, but when my wife and I chose to go separate ways and didn’t return the same time. The early person was forced to wait in the lobby for the other to return. You could not enter your room! Tried asking the lobby staff to let me in… after a wait was let in my room, but no second card was given. So, was forced to sit in a room without AC or electricity! This was very frustrating. Not the 4 star service one would hope for!

    Lovely hotel.

    rating27 Jun 2025

A small but lovely hotel in an ideal position close to the main square. Friendly and professional staff. Check in and out was easy and efficient and we were given a welcome drink once we had unpacked. Our room was compact but perfect. Lovely bedding, soft pillows and gorgeous towels. Initially no hairdryer but this was rectified as soon as I mentioned it at reception. Kettles for rooms arrived during our stay and we were given one promptly. The breakfast was lovely, the homemade marmalade was delicious. The balcony overlooked the street and square and was a nice addition. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

    Good location to see Argostoli

    rating27 May 2025

We stopped three nights as part of a two-centre TUI break. A very central hotel. Not much to it but a very suitable place to stay to see Argostoli. Quite a cramped bedroom - just enough room to edge around the bed - though with a small balcony with a table and two chairs, in our case overlooking the town’s main square. Bed very comfortable; no tea making facilities; but a free safe and a small fridge plus air-con. Bathroom not much smaller than the bedroom with an excellent shower in a cubicle (almost the most powerful we’ve experienced abroad!). Water always hot. Breakfast was continental. A lot of choice but very Greek. Less fruit than we expected. Some ‘hot’ things (scrambled egg, bacon, sausage) but since the burners were not lit under the serving containers all cold (ugh! cold rubbery scrambled egg). The hotel has a bar and a lounge with outdoor seating. We also found an upstairs terrace and a downstairs music room, though both seemed to be only being used for storage. Maybe later in the season they get opened? The staff extremely friendly, very accommodating, with good English. Right in the middle of town with loads of restaurant choices nearby. We liked it. Ideal for a night or two, though the cramped room might get annoying if staying longer.

    First Impressions

    rating24 Sept 2024

First impressions very good great room lovely penthouse room with jacuzzi and huge roof top terrace over looking the square .Staff over all were very good apart from the younger guy on reception who couldn't really be bothered to communicate, the breakfast was basic but clean and tidy not a great choice but acceptable , on two occasion we asked for the jacuzzi to be topped up as the water line was below the filter , they were slow to accommodate this request but eventually got around to it a day later , other than the aforementioned everything was fine, and would defo recommend.
