Chania, the main town, is 18 km away, home to the charming Venetian Harbour, with its Neoclassical, Venetian and Turkish architecture, rich in culture and history. It is a pleasure to wander along the small cobbled streets with their museums, churches, souvenir shops and taverns. The long, beautiful beach is only 300 metres away.
