🚩please, read before choosing this hotelI normally don’t write reviews, but this time I encountered many series of events and many details that motivated me to share my own experience and to make it known by as many people as possible. As we arrived, after a long drive of 2 days, the staff at the reception wasn’t too friendly and even unprofessional since they gave us 2 bracelets for adults and 2 for children when we clearly were 3 adults and just one child and made other mistakes that had me questioning whether they tried to lie to us or were just not attentive. However, we were supposed to check in at 15:00 but our rooms were already prepared so we could enter earlier.Things really went downhill when we opened the door to our room. For the price we have paid, we’ve expected to get a beautiful and clean suite, like in the photos on the website. However, the room we got was extremely small, assuring no privacy. Both beds were extremely uncomfortable and the sheets weren’t. The worst part was the bathroom. If you are taller than 1.50 meters, you will not fit neither in the shower, nor on the toilet. The mirror was greasy, the curtains that were attached to the door frame of the balcony were stained, the toilet seat was broken, as well as the horrible smell that we could not get rid of through the entire stay here. The wardrobe was placed too high to reach for the hangers and it had no shelves. The pluses of the room were only the small fridge that surprisingly did a great job at keeping out water cold all 10 days and the air conditioner, but unfortunately it could only cool down one room, not both. When it comes to the parking spaces, you had the opportunity to park your vehicle near your room, but in this way it would stay all day in the sun. There was also no other option than parking it in the sun. Also, the towels from the hotel had a bad smell and sometimes had stains. To get to the beach, you have to cross many stairs. Our room number was less than 230, so we had to cross only 3 sets of stairs, but if you get a room with its number more than 230, the number of stairs increases. At the beach there is a private area that is reserved only for the guests that paid for the suite, the rest of the beach is reserved for the rest of the guests and other people that want to enjoy the sun. The beach was pretty clean. However, one morning I woke up early in order to reserve the front row seats on the beach and when I opened the door in front of me there were numerous bugs and insects that managed to even get in our room. Despite that, I went to the beach, reserved the seats and after breakfast when I went back I saw my towels being removed with the pretext that those were for disabled people. However, after some hours, the same staff member that removed my towels permitted a couple to sit there and none of them seemed to be disabled. The water does not look in real life as blue as in the pictures. It had a greenish color and it was quite deep even 2-3 meters from the sand, so I would definitely not recommend it if you have small children. The pluses were only the view of the beach which led to Thassos and the fact that there many boats and cruises crossing the water so it was a unique view. Also, every day the umbrellas were opened and closed by the beach staff, so you did not have to worry about this. The bar at the beach was HORRIBLE. The coffee was disgusting and when I asked what is it made for they pulled out a bag of natural coffee beans. I then figured out that those beans actually go in the other coffee machine which you had to pay for. However, one day the coffee from that machine was 2 euros, the other day 5, and the next day was free, so it was confusing. The food at the restaurant was actually good, not all of it, but the most dishes were. One thing I really appreciated was the variety of dishes and that the tables were always clean, as well as the facet that the personal at the restaurant did a great job keeping the place clean. After all this journey, the only thing I enjoyed only the fact that the wi-fi was extremely fast and it even worked on the beach, the gym was well equipped and each morning the hotel staff made sure to supply each room with a bottle of water, since the tap water was not drinkable. The staff was okayish. For the price we have paid, I would not recommend this hotel. Our expectations were higher and unfortunately we were disappointed. I now regret choosing this hotel and the fact that I have waisted my only holiday at this resort.

"So many stars, so little professionalism."

    rating14 Jul 2025

We stayed at Toscha Beach Hotel on July 6th, 2025, for a single night. Upon checking out, we accidentally left behind a shirt, a pair of shorts, and a belt (looped through the shorts) inside the room’s wardrobe. We checked out on time and spent the afternoon at the hotel’s beach. When we returned home, we realized our items were missing and tried to contact the hotel immediately. All their phone lines were either out of service or unanswered, including the mobile number listed on their website. We sent an email — no reply. The next day, we finally reached a receptionist who confirmed the items had been found but insisted we send either a relative or a courier from Kavala to collect them.We sent a courier the same day, but they refused to hand over anything, claiming “they hadn’t been informed.” The next day, after contacting the hotel again, the courier was refused once more, this time because “they weren’t at reception.” Only on the third day, after repeated complaints, were the items finally handed over.Except… not all the items were there. The shirt and the belt — which had been hanging together on the same hanger with the shorts — were missing. We contacted them again. This time, a less-than-polite receptionist called us to inform that those two items were “not found” and the only thing they could offer was compensation. When we asked who handed over the shorts, they said it was the housekeeper who cleaned the room. When we raised concerns about the safety of guests’ belongings and trustworthiness of their staff, the receptionist sarcastically replied: “You’re not saying that very nicely.”We sent them an invoice for €54.95. Then came the cherry on top: when we called to confirm they’d received it, their response was:“Yes, we got it. We’ll send you the money… once we collect it.”Really? Is this a hotel or a charity drive? To be clear: we are not upset about the lost items themselves. We don’t care about compensation. What enraged us was the systematic indifference, the lack of responsibility, and the rude treatment we received as paying customers simply trying to recover our belongings. We wouldn’t have written this review if they hadn’t pushed us to the limit with their behavior. Especially when simple questions were met with sarcasm and outright dismissal. None of this screams professionalism — or hospitality, for that matter.📌 Advice to future guests: Check your room carefully before leaving. Never leave anything behind, even during your stay. Lower your expectations — way down. Thanks, but we won’t be back. Neither will anyone we know. And no, we don’t want the compensation. Keep it.

Poor resort for 200€/day in after seson!

    rating01 Jun 2025

Very poor value for money! At €200/day, you have certain expectations, especially at the beginning of the season! Food is okay but not at the level of €200/day! Zero activities! The ping-pong table is non-functional, you have to buy paddles and balls! No pool , non activity! The beach is okay but that's it! The drinks at the bar are very poor, served in plastic cups! The room is okay but not very clean, lots of insects, spiders, etc.

    Great place for families

    rating16 Aug 2024

The resort is very pleasant with a lot of green, I liked the possibility to walk around inside. You always see the sea, when you wake up in the morning, when you have breakfast, lunch a d dinner and when staying on the beach. There was always variety of food, always fresh and tasty. The staff is really friendly. The beach is really nice, well maintained, and the sea water is clean. We have got ultra all inclusive, so I recommend this for families with kids.
