This hotel is situated in the most central part of the town of Kavala, near to Kavala’s marvellous harbour. It is located on the road between Salonica and Constantinople, some 164 km from Salonica the former. Daily air, train and coach connections to Athens are available.

A very basic hotel that could be so much better. Everything looked tired in this property…the furniture, the walls and floors, even the staff. Lacked basics like wash clothes, coffee for coffeemaker, hair dryer, king beds had two measly little pillows. Our stay at Airhotel Galaxy in Kavala had many positive and a small amount of negative aspects.The hotel is in a great central location with easy access to the city and within walking distance of the harbor, shops, and many restaurants. Hotel location is good, but the building is badly insulated, you hear EVERYTHING on the streets and other rooms.Olga the receptionist was very nice and helpful.The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything in other rooms. I still cannot understand why this hotel is rated 4 stars. It is in urgent need of renovation (elevators, bathrooms, worn-out towels, corridor floors, beds, and overall cleanliness).
