  Beautiful, Older Hotel that's completely modern inside

  Lovely older hotel that has charm and has been completely renovated so rooms are modern. Decor is high end. Spacious rooms, updated bathroom, spotlessly clean. Located few steps from the wall surrounding the town. Great breakfast. Quiet. Although the space was lovely, our suite did not have blackout curtains -we had a terrace - I would suggest Blackouts to limit morning light.   We stayed at the Alter Ego , which is the charcoal building at end. We were given free upgrades by the hotel which was very nice. The room was big and modern. It had a small tv room with a swing . The shower was fantastic! Huge and it had a rainfall shower heads . The biggest plus was the air conditioning, which we missed greatly during our trip. Common kitchen was big and great.   This hotel is so nice! The room was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was great. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I wish I got the name of the Hungarian woman at the front desk. She was so sweet. And her English was amazing! The location can not be beat. Unfortunately, when we were there the restaurant was closed.This hotel is so nice! The room was lovely and comfortable.   My wife and I stayed here for our drive of the Romantic Road and thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The hotel’s exterior was charming, it was uniquely decorated and the staff was friendly.
