I had a wonderful two-night stay at the Eisenhut Hotel recently.The hotel is conveniently located in the pedestrianised zone of the old town. All the buildings in the area looked like they’re from a fairy tale picture book. The best time to wander around is 7.00am after sunrise. Potentially a Great Spot
If you don’t mind a church bell ringing every hour on the hour overnight with no way to muffle it because the lack of air conditioning prevents you from closing the windows, then by all means enjoy the central location. Lovely character hotel right in the centre of Rothenburg. We stayed in part of the hotel across the road and went across to the main building for breakfast. The rooms were basic but clean and spacious. The shower wasn’t brilliant over the bath. The breakfast was very nice, a good choice of everything.
