Okay hotel but skip the breakfast

We were on a prebook tour around Bodensee arriving at Hampton by Hilton. Checking in was a rather chaotic and not very professional experience. The receptionist seemed distracted and was not very customer focused.However, we got a nice room on the 6th floor. Bright, clean and well equipped. Nice large bathroom with good amenities.Breakfast was included but what a disappointment. Rarely have I had such a poor breakfast anywhere. It was a huge buffet breakfast but the food was of the lowest quality. The bread tasted synthetic, jam was nothing but a coloured gelly substance and cheese was like rubber and completely tasteless.I had to give up in the breakfast and left hungry.The location of the hotel is not the best. it is in a industrial area a bit away from the city centre.

The rooms are big enough, and there is also a safe deposit box in the room. Although the hotel's not old, it already needs some refurbishment. There is a continuous, annoying sound from the bathroom ventilation shaft. A bit disturbing at night. The breakfast consists of many varieties, not all of them being tasty.

the hotel is quite new and so far ok. however the building and service have serious negative points.my mother is 84 years old and after 10pm the electricity in her room was gone. this means no light, no tv, no ac nothing was working anymore. the guy from reception came to the room pressed the light buttons, looked helpless and then he went away and nothing get fixed until afternoon next day.of course it was just the jumping out for whatever reason and no one here on the spot know where the fuse is.the guy (manager?) who knew where the fuse is found it not too disturbant that my mom had no electricity she could use her inhaler to take her medicinethis is a example of the worst king i ever had

You will always get bad experience if book through Ota like booking.Com or priceline. I was first offered early check in but then denied at last minute. Had to wait 5 hours in cold weather. Very upset

Love this hotel.. arrived late (8:30) but Nithin, the gentlemen who checked us in, was kind, patient and full of suggestions of things to do around the area. We were so thankful he spoke English as our German is bad. Rom on was very clean, beds firm and comfortable, great hot water!! In shower. Definitely would stay here again. Love Hampton is over here now!
