We just spent 1 night here and were a little concerned after reading the reviews. It was fantastic!! Awesome retro vibe, balcony room. Great view. Very clean.sure it’s a little isolated, but if you want a couple of nights to relax I highly recommend! The only issue was we had booked twin beds but were given a king bed that couldn’t be separated. The breakfast was great. Ok ISH .. very dated not that clean in the communal areas. Staff at reception not that friendly. Asked for an extra pillow was told in a very curt manner No! It's a huge place but very dated and quite run down in parts . Needs quite a bit of work throughout. Great location very peaceful although I think the age of the building you will hear your neighbours. This hotel is on a very nice location with dramatic views. However the building and surroundings of the building (broken down stuff) is super ugly and it is good to be in it and not have a view on it. The rooms are okay, but little noise protection.
