The stench of cabbage and bad drains from the bathroom was so overpowering it made me feel physically sick. Not even leaving the windows open all night helped. Price to service Ratio is Very Good. Exquisite Location.
Location is Uber central. It is infact quite excellently situated. Staff are superb. Very friendly and helpful indeed. The price was very good, and based on that - the value is about as good as it gets in Germany. Room contained a desk, chair, TV, longer chair, bed side lamp, reading lamp, multiple outlets, 2x towel, 1x bath mat and complimentary shampoo soap at the sink and shower. To start with the positive, the staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful.The hotel is very dated, and very in need of updating. The corridor to my room had a light missing so was quite dark. The room had a strange smell coming from the bathroom and the shower doors were both broken. There was a stain on the chair and the whole room felt dingy. Good hotel for a short city trip to Karlsruhe
Room on the fourth floor was a bit warm, there is no airco but the had a fan. The bathroom is small but we had a good sleep. Another plus was also the fridge in the room. Interesting stay in Karlsruhe
Booked into the Centro Hotel Blankenburg by INA for a staff conference being held in Karlsruhe. Hotel rooms were clean. However, put in a very small single room. Quite dark and not suitable for this trip. Speaking to my colleagues also at this accommodation they experienced similar.
