Location is fabulous...walk to schloss, hauptstrasse...everything very nicely located. They provide a nice bed with linens (though I needed additional towels and pillow). They are interested in making your stay comfortable. There are a/c splits in the room, and while it isn't American, it does cool and makes is pleasant to sleep. I was booked in this hotel but reception has given me another hotel room Hotel Denner without even asking me about my concern. I was very much disappointed. The Room is shaking because of the Infernal traffic noise. Terrible noiselevel - I am shifting hotels now , eventhough I can not get my money back and have to pay for a new room for the two nights. Loved this hotel in Heidelberg. Convenient price. The bed and the bathroom were big. Excellent location and friendly staff. Check in/out process was very smooth. Parking available in the facilities. This hotel is in an historic building. The ceilings are high and our room was a deluxe double and very spacious. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide variety of foods--from fresh baked bread, to make your own waffles, to cheeses, eggs and other foods.
