Miserable experience
My stay was not good. There was no air conditioning in my room at all. I informed the guy at the front desk who basically brushed me off and told me – without even getting up from his chair – that I was supposed to slowly decrease the temperature from 24° to 23°, wait several minutes, then decrease to 22°, wait again, etc. until I reach 18°. Tired looking hotel, rooms small, staff unfriendly. Checking was poor, not very welcoming, bar staff kept on leaving the bar so service was non existent.Toilet rolls not replaced, towels not replaced and windows left open during the day so room was freezing when we got back. A very good hotel...mostly.
The Mercure Hannover Mitte is an excellent hotel, in a pretty good location. It’s typical of the Accor brand at this level and it feels almost brand new (I don’t know how long it has been open). Our room (233) was perfect. Not the biggest of rooms but it didn’t need to be. The bed was very comfortable and it had all the amenities we required. Great location, but also quiet
I really enjoyed staying here and was sorry that it was only for one night. The location was fantastic - walking distance to Hannover Hauptbahnhof. but quiet as it's on the edge of the city centre. I slept really well. The breakfast was excellent - a buffet, with fresh rolls and a range of hot and cold dishes. Very good hotel, good location
We spent 5 nights at this hotel and were really pleased with it, from check in to check out all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our double room was very nice, clean and comfortable. It had plenty of of hanging and drawer storage for our clothes, plus 2 chairs, the bed was really comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.
