I booked it for DECEMBER 23rd which is today and I called 3-4 times 15 days in advance requesting for a room with a view of the Christmas Market and they kept saying we will leave a NOTE, we will leave a NOTE. We booked online not being familiar with Dresden. We couldn’t have been happier. Located right in the middle of the square with easy access to everything we wanted to see. As nice as this hotel may be I need to warn others of my experience. I booked this hotel to travel from Canada to spread my mothers ashes. The dates were changed and when we contacted the hotel they said they had no rooms on our changed dates and would not give us a refund. Firstly to the management reading this we were the ones who paid in euro coins and had the Dalmatian, which appears to have been quite the talk and laughter amongst your staff, who were excellent and accommodated us in everything.
