The hotel's location is ideal as it is in the city center and right near the train station. The check-in/out process is flawless. The Ibis Hotel Bochum Zentral in Bochum, Germany, is what you would called a very tired and dated hotel. My wife and I visited her friend in Bochum and stayed in this hotel from 9th to 13th August 2022. I must say that the hotel, indeed most of what is the town of Bochum, needs an urgent make over. Stayed here again, this time for business, and had a good stay again. Room was comfortable and clean, the location next to the main station and in the city center is great and the staff was friendly. A little minus are the tiny bathrooms and that the bar area was not open, maybe due to covid. My The staff are great and professional.
The hotel has an excellent location in the city ,just 2 mins walk from the train station. It is in the heart of the city. However I found the room to be small.
