This hotel is superbly located in the peaceful Lichtenberg/Friedrichshain district of the city, just 20 min by public transport from Berlin's buzzing centre, with attractions such as Alexanderplatz, Hackescher Markt and Friedrichstraße. The comfort hotel is situated on a side road off the Frankfurter Allee with fantastic connection to the public transport network (Lichtenberg and Ostbahnhof railway stations, underground, S-Bahn, bus and tram). It takes 20 min to reach the exhibition centre. Shops and other entertainment attractions are easily reached on foot.

The hotel welcomes guests in a 6-storey building with a lift and 99 non-smoking rooms. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Stayed here for three nights while visiting Berlin. The hotel is well located for getting around, with easy access to the U-Bahn, making it a convenient base for exploring the city.Unfortunately, there were a couple of issues with the room. Booked in on a whim after escaping an awful hot and scary hotel. Booked directly at the desk and snagged the last room! Workers are very friendly, the rooms are in excellent condition with air-conditioning, coffee machines, mini fridge, safe, both hard and soft pillows and a fancy bathroom with mirrors at different angles and a fancy shower with buttons. We were a little further out of the centre than we expected, but the underground was celebration and very close by.The hotel itself was a little dated but very clean and tidy, not scruffy at all. The bathrooms could do with a little updating.The shining stars were most definitely the staff, particularly the gentleman that checked us in. So friendly, helpful and approachable. A very good hotel to stay at, clean, very spacious room, with friendly and helpful staff.
