I stayed three nights at "The Hotel Inn Express" in Potsdam. It is centrally located, not too far from the Train Station. One thing is for sure, they do NOT accept any cash, just Credit Cards. At the Bar in the Lobby, you can order some small meals. Nothing fancy. Comfortable hotel but has some big drawbacks

The hotel is in a good location, being only a 15 minute walk to the train station and less than 30 minutes from Park Sanssouci. That being said, there appeared to be some kind of depot behind the hotel so every day we were woken up by heavy goods being loaded into lorries. Avoid this hotel .. the staff we encountered right from the day we checked in until we left did not seem very warm. People at front desk don't do enough to manage volumes. The location of this hotel is pretty convenient - a 10-15 minute walk from a train station, and a couple of tram stations are also around.
