  Needs renovation and very poor breakfast

  Location is perfect. 5 minutes walk to the Freedom square and from the hotel you can reach everything you need to see in the city by walk. And this is the only positiv I can say about the hotel. It is very shabby inside and needs a renovation. The carpets were awful with stains everywhere. The breakfast was very poor. Very disappointed. Next time I visit I will find the other place to stay. It is not 4 starts hotel.

  Unsafe and Distressing Experience at Hotel Gallery Palace, 5 Pavle Ingorokva Street, 0105 Tbilisi City, Georgia, Tbilisi City Center, Tbilisi, Georgia, 0105Dear Hotel Manager’s / Customer Support Team,I am writing to formally report a horrifying and unsafe experience during my recent stay at your hotel. It was one of the worst and most distressing hotel experiences I have ever had. I am sharing this so that immediate action can be taken to prevent such incidents for other guests.Below are the key issues I faced:1. Severe Safety Concerns: The balconies are dangerously close to each other, allowing anyone to easily jump from one room to another. This poses a serious security threat to all guests.2. Physical Threat from Staff: The reception and housekeeping staff behaved aggressively and created a sense of physical danger. At one point, the reception staff member forcefully entered our room without consent while we were still inside.3. Unresponsive and Rude Staff: The reception was completely unhelpful and unprofessional. Despite multiple calls and assurances, no action was taken to address our requests.4. Booking Not Honored: We had booked a double occupancy twin-bed room but were provided a double-bed room instead.5. Poor Amenities and Service:o The room had a kettle but no cups or glasses.o Repeated requests for an extra quilt were ignored.6. Disturbing Late-Night Incident: At around 11:00 p.m., we were compelled to check out due to fear and discomfort caused by the staff’s behaviour and lack of safety.This experience was both traumatic and unacceptable. The hotel environment felt unsafe and the conduct of the staff was completely unprofessional and threatening.

  Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was far from pleasant. The room was unclean and clearly hadn’t been renovated in years—stains on the carpet, peeling paint, and an overall musty, unpleasant smell. The coffee machine in the breakfast hall didn’t work, and despite letting the staff know, no one ever came to fix or replace it ( we stayed 4 nights)The breakfast was just as disappointing—limited options, poorly prepared, and not fresh. What made matters worse was the attitude of the staff: unhelpful and with little concern for guest comfort or satisfaction.Overall, we wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. There are much better options out there for the same price—or even less.

  I spent 20 days in Georgia and used Gallery Palace Hotel in Tbilisi as a hub to return to. I got to try 4 different rooms (503, 316, 521 and 508) ; all were pretty much standard : large, comfortable king bed, good size room and adequate bathroom with dual-function shower - rm 508 had a small balcony. There is some wear and tear with stains and chipped paint, but overall the standard is good. The location could not be better, adjacent to government buildings, and surrounded by a choice of very good Georgian restaurants.Breakfast is OK, I only wish they added fresh juice and custom eggs.Where they fall short is in proper training of staff : reception staff is totally incompetent, they show no interest at all in addressing any problems (the standard reply is "I don't know"). Restaurant staff are better, but they concentrate more on their mobile phones than on servicing the customers.With some hospitality training and some small renovations, this hotel would be 5-star boutique. As it stands, it offers value for money.

  I was with a friend. We stayed 4 nights, the room is fine but quite dirty (stains on the carpets). There is no tea pot and auxiliary amenities which is sad. The most disappointing experience was breakfast - it is quite poor, is hot dishes run out, there is no refillment. Another issue is pastries - the whole time we stayed, there were no new pastries - the croissants were dry and firm, so they were the same every day, they were baked some time in July (and we were in October).Apart from that the location is great (in the city center) but it can be sometimes noisy (but this is often the case when you decide to live in the city center).
