The location was perfect, near both the city centre and the train station. We had a quiet room, which was nice, so we slept well, and the breakfast buffet was fine. Overall, though, the hotel could use a serious update, as the red carpets on the floor were worn out, and the ceiling in our room was cracked, and some paint fell off. The hotel is in a good location -just around the corner from the airport shuttle stop and opposite the bus station. The reception and breakfast area are light and airy, but the rest of the hotel is in need of some TLC in general. The carpets are grubby and the paintwork scuffed. strange really it was clean the bed linen was clean , the breakfast good but i had the feeling that they would not have to spend a massive amount of money to make a difference! old paint cracked, although clean the toilet and bathroom was old and tired , the grouting cracked on the tiles, render in a bad way. that said i would stay here again. We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Clean bathroom but has a bad smell. The bathroom mirror has normally a light on it but it was broken so I complained to the receptionist if they can fix it but during my 2 nights stay it wasn’t repaired, it’s difficult to put on my makeup in a dim light.
