Bring bleach for the toilet
14 May 2025
Booked for 3 nights, checked out after 1. Filthy toilet in the room. No bed, only a sofa bed that I couldn’t pull out. No curtains so I was awoken at the crack of dawn. Ended up paying out £285 for one of the only other hotels available and obviously lost the money I had spent on this disaster. We found another on Bookings.com and asked if they could phone for us and book, also ordering a taxi. At that point they said they has a "sudden cancellation", but it was double the price. We accepted as we'd had difficult trip and needed… We'd booked into the hotel for a specific date, but circumstances required 1 earlier night. Hotel is located just a block from the metro. Convenient to center of town and the university. The staff, especially Carmen, were wonderful. The room is more than adequate - lots of space - a desk and a table. The breakfast was very good also. Very clean and secure. Kitchenette - which was nice to have.
