Great value in a stunning city!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Strasbourg. The location is roughly a 25-30 minute walk from the main sights, but it's a beautiful walk with plentiful shade to keep us cool in the August heat. My only complaint was the service was kind of cold but adequate. Our roomed smelled a bit musty but the AC worked great and it was spacious. It was great value for the money and I would stay here again!We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Strasbourg. The location is roughly a 25-30 minute walk from the main sights, but it's a beautiful walk with plentiful shade to keep us cool in the August heat. We were concerned based on the reviews we had read.......yes, the hotel is a little dated and needs a refresh. However we had a positive experience - we had a large room on the top floor. That may have been an upgrade based on Diamond status (we had our two boys, 8 and 10, with us). The quality of the Executive Lounge was comparable with others we used on the same trip (Vienna, Munich for example)… We were concerned based on the reviews we had read.......yes, the hotel is a little dated and needs a refresh. A year ago we stayed for a week at this hotel. We remembered the excellent hospitality well, so we returned this year.We were welcomed at the reception with a smile and light refreshments.
