Location

This hotel is located in the heart of the city of Orléans. Guests will find restaurants, bars, shops and links to the public transport network within 100 m of the hotel.     What a suprise, much better than I expected

    What a suprise this place was, the location is great, across the road from the train station & Tram at front door. The hotel is in the classical style, not modern. The double room was clean had a comfortable bed and good pillows. Bathroom also clean with shower which had good water pressure. Overall nice feeling in room, not huge, but had some storage for clothes. No bar fridge. The breakfast was another suprise, very good, nice selection. Air conditioning was good. Overall a great stay & would stay here again when next in Orleans.

    The hotel is in a lovely fronted building.The day we arrived, the receptionist was a bit 'mardy' but every other day after that, she was happy and smiling.The one issue we had, was the bath. A lack of a plug. The maintenance man got one, but we still had to tape it down! (lol!) so we could use the bath, as it was one of those 'attached at the base' type.Thin walls though, so walking and snoring could be heard from the other rooms. Drains were noisy too.Perfect location too!!!!All in all.

    Central location and cleanliness were two aspects I liked. My room in the 5th floor (attic) was, however, a very uncomfortable experience as it was NOT equipped with air-conditioning. It was unbearable during a heatwave!The receptionist was aware that the ac was not functionable but I was quite simply ignored and was not offered another room. Very disappointing indeed.

    We arrived morning tired from trip and tried check in at 9AM, we understand it may have not been possible. however the receptionist said we might check in 13 or 14 . I showed him my reservation from booking.com clearly states booking at 12. He just simply said its not our problem and we will not have our room by 12 neighter!!! Total nonsense! He could at least say we will try our best and if someone checks out we will check you in. he didn't bother, cause he hasn't learned simple basics of a receptionist role. I contacted hotel manager but they didn't care, so here is my conclusion at this hotel they don't give a damn about customer, there are plenty of great hotels at Orleans with amazing professional recpetionists.

    Rooms are renovated but quite small. Limited amenities. You can hear noise from other rooms and hallway. Due to Covid, they offer breakfast to take to your room, although a bit expensive for what you get. Hotel is well located on main shopping street, close to the train station.
