Typical Ibis stay, which is generally very good. We are here in Nantes again for Hellfest and normally stay at the Ibis Styles across from the train station but decided on this property because it is a shorter walk from the train station south exit. Awful hotel with air con which doesn’t work

Air con broke, but also when it was working was awful when it’s 35 degrees outside. Can’t open the windows because of building works… unable to move to a lower floor / different room to see if that’s better. Wouldn’t mind if we were staying for a night but we’re here a week. Disappointing visit but good location to explore Nantes

Disappointing visit. The staff on reception were helpful and friendly. The room was booked as a twin which really was 2 small singles beds less than an inch apart with 2 single mattress. The mattress just kept slipping off every time I moved. Air conditioning was not working so they gave us a very noisy fan so the room was very hot and cramped. Good location let down by standards

This hotel’s only redeeming factor is its location, in saying this if you are a lone traveler I would not feel safe walking into/back from the city via a subway (this was fine as a group). The hotel room was extremely basic and was lacking elements comparable budget hotels have as standard like a safe, kettle, or adequate plugs. This is a very functional IBIS but it functions well. Welcome was friendly, room was clean and quiet, bed was very comfortable. Close to the station (easier to exit via the south side).
