It is a pleasant undertaking. difficult to get to. Poor communication and accusations

We had an issue with the floor of our bathroom being wet. After using the shower, we noticed it was leaking from under the bath. This was reported, but we were told as it was late it would not be possible to have it looked at. We were offered to move rooms, but as this was a joint room, we could use the bathroom of the other room so stayed. The rooms have no air conditioning. When we asked we were told they are an eco hotel, yet they have multiple single use plastics in the rooms (toiletries and amenities) and fans running all the time in the communal areas to keep it cool. The hotel has been renovated and the decor is lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful. We was being lazy so chose to have the room service food. I didn’t hold out high hopes, as usual the food is not great. But the food was so good and then the breakfast was good too.
