Worse hotel experience! Hotel very dated!!!
Very far from the Grotto and 1 hours walk to the main area. The staff were extremely rude and didn't make any effort. No manager was available to us. We paid for half board but Food was not nice only cornflakes for breakfast or boiled egg. They argued over a teabag. Lock us out of the dining room so we couldn't get water. Rude dining room staff and old facilities
This is NOT a 3 star hotel. I agree with other travellers that it is more in line with a hostal. The carpet in the bedroom was stained and dirty. The bathroom ceiling has open slats which you can see all the pipes. The food in the dining room was awful and the female waiting staff member very rude. I booked a single room in this hotel 7th until 10 of Oct, the room was cell like in appearance but clean and very adequate for one,plenty of hot water and clean towels. Dated, very friendly staff
I was visiting Lourdes and my precious favourite hotels have all closed or no longer exist. I am sorry to say that Lourdes is losing it's clientele little by little. Each new year I visit, the less people I see compared to the 80's and 90's.It is a lot easier to find a hotel now that in the past. I choose this on price as I only needed a bed for the night. Rude and offensive receptionist
We booked for our honeymoon, reading the hotel policies that dogs are accepted. The receptionist said we cannot leave our dog alone even for an hour to visit the sanctuary. He dared to say that we should not leave our dog, and went on to comparing it to a child, that if it was a human child we would not have left it?!??!
