Fantastic hotel perfect location friendly staff. The room was clean and bed was comfy. The food was very good and service was excellent. I will stay again. A five minute walk from the grotto . Travelled with our pilgrimage and so glad we chose the Elesio.All of the staff are so welcoming. They were all so kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. As a strict vegetarian, I never had any issues with food choices and there was plenty of it. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The bar area was lovely to sit for a wine after a hot day, and prices were no more than any other hotel… Travelled with our pilgrimage and so glad we chose the Elesio.All of the staff are so welcoming. I've no idea where those leaving negative reviews have stayed but I'm not that easily pleased and this is a lovely hotel. My room on the top floor at the back of the hotel was quiet, clean and spacious. I was with a pilgrimage group and the hotel provide a kettle and I had a fridge but the hotel don't provide a tea tray for groups and most did not have a fridge. You can get a cup from the bar but… I've no idea where those leaving negative reviews have stayed but I'm not that easily pleased and this is a lovely hotel. We arrived to this hotel super tired to find ourselves in a hotel that smelled horrible. We only stayed for one night and yet my experience was not very good. The entrance was nice and check in was super easy, staff was amazing and helpful. The rooms are clean but not nice. The bathroom is very old fashioned and to be honest very creepy.
