My room was very clean & comfortable. I overlooked the station, & spent some time being entertained watching all the druggies & crazy people hanging around. We had breakfast once, just to experience the rooftop terrace, which was very nice. Breakfast was the standard type with cheese, meats, bread, yoghurt & fruit. No frills budget hotel. Very clean, and helpful staff. Breakfast good. Be aware that it overlooks the main station which harbours drunks and druggies. It can be very loud. The rooms are soundproofed, but if travelling in the summer and need the windo open take earplugs. Bathroom is very small, so if ypu are on larger side you might struggle. Overall good value. We stayed two nights in December in Hotel Chagnot.The location is practical as it is one minute from Lille Flandres station and right in the city centre. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the area.The hotel is a basic 3 star hotel. Our room (111) was a very odd shape and did not have any storage space at all.
