Le Mans lies at the confluence of the Huisne and the Sarthe and is renowned for the world’s biggest endurance race. It is known as an art town and historical city, having one of the richest cultural heritages in all of France. Guests can discover the Saint-Julien Cathedral which mixes Roman and Gothic styles, the area inside the Gallo-Roman walls with its wooden houses, as well as the old part of Mans with its picturesque streets and the Saint-Martin Priory.

The apartment hotel has 101 studios, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Really rude staff, Damaged furniture in the room, receptionists get into your room while you're not around if they want to leave a note or check on the heater. Rooms are okay, but bed linen was very frail and tore in the first night itself after which the staff demanded to pay for it. We stayed here for two nights and looked at the reviews after booking and were worried expecting the worse. We were pleasantly surprised. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable. Decent white bedding. We were on the back of hotel so nice and quiet It’s not the ritz but it’s a good standard for 2 star quite similar to many 3 stars we’ve stayed at. Firstly the reviews on TA aren't great but the prices are about right for what you get.The place when we visited a few weeks ago as part of a motorbike trip to the area was undergoing some refurbs. That said the room was clean/tidy and perfectly fine for 2 smelly bikers. The shower was hot with clean towels. The twin beds were comfortable. The lift worked to all floors. Well it's definitely not the Ritz and for one nights stay compared with our previous nights accomdation it was definitely a step up. Frustrating that basic cleaning isn't able to be accomplished especially when you're asked to clean the kitchen yourself otherwise you're charged additional fee!
