    Rude staff and Service

    rating08 Sept 2025

Really rude staff, Damaged furniture in the room, receptionists get into your room while you're not around if they want to leave a note or check on the heater. Rooms are okay, but bed linen was very frail and tore in the first night itself after which the staff demanded to pay for it. Especially for international students who come to learn French in the nearby university stay here and have had to pay extra amount with their deposit being deducted with no proofs or photos of the said damage in the room, or outside in the trash room. Staff and head of staff screams at guests when there are misunderstandings or while trying to understand what they're imposing in the contract of the residence. Manager banged on my door when I failed to open it from the inside in 2 minutes. As an international student, felt really unwelcoming and unsafe thinking when the staff would suddenly get into the room. As for the situation of walking to the residence at night, it can be a bit dangerous as many sketchy people roam around the building past 10pm. Otherwise, really good location, 10 minutes from the Sncf station and tramway. In the kitchen: sometimes the stove can stop working or the freezer can not keep foods like ice creams or meat cold and frozen.

rubbish and would not ever stay there again.

Rude staff, threating to increase the price as we disagreed with the original price due to 24hrDirty room, fraying towels, Burn mark on radiator, no aircon. I opened the window but its traffic noise. I would add that Walking back to the hotel at night would be frightening for a female on her ownThe Bed is 6 in from the floor with the thinnest mattress, the pillows are really thin,. You have to stand outside the shower to soap and go back in to rinse. The elevator is questionable. The Breakfast was very basic, but the croissants, Pain au Chocolates were warm, there is a refreshing orange juice machine was nice. We booked it in January as it was opposite the office we were working in, which happened to be LeMans 24 so they bumped the price. I went back to Paris after this stay and paid the same price in the Hilton for 1 night

    Good value for money

    rating01 Nov 2019

We stayed here for two nights and looked at the reviews after booking and were worried expecting the worse. We were pleasantly surprised. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable. Decent white bedding. We were on the back of hotel so nice and quiet It’s not the ritz but it’s a good standard for 2 star quite similar to many 3 stars we’ve stayed at. Nice big room with fridge microwave 2 ring hob. Next to train station and only 20 minute walk to the old town so good location. Parking free outside from 7 pm to 9 am but plenty of paid parking nearby. Reception staff friendly and helpful. For a cheap and cheerful I’d stay again. great base for exploring Le Mans

    rating27 May 2018

Firstly the reviews on TA aren't great but the prices are about right for what you get.The place when we visited a few weeks ago as part of a motorbike trip to the area was undergoing some refurbs. That said the room was clean/tidy and perfectly fine for 2 smelly bikers. The shower was hot with clean towels. The twin beds were comfortable. The lift worked to all floors. The dining room if you paid extra for breakfast was again clean/modern and perfectly good. (I suspect this had already been done up). There is a vending machine in the dining room available 24/7. Staff were helpful and speak good English. The hotel is located about 500 metres from La Gare (train station) and the local tram stop (20 mins and about 7 stops takes you directly to the Le Mans race track and cost about 6 euros per return trip. Just beyond the station concourse are a few bars/basic food shops and largely kebab café/restaurants. If you want other cuisine continue into town.If you want a cheap place to explore the area this is just fine. PS a 24 hour petrol station is about 500 metres the other way so great for filling up before you leave.PPS If you come by bike/motorbike you can park outside on the pavement without issue/payment as we did. Cars must pay in a local car park I think Stephanie C, Gérant at Zenitude Hotel-Residences Le Mans Novaxis, responded to this review Dear Sir,We thank you for taking the time to leave us a full comment on your experience at our facility and we are delighted that you were satisfied with your stay with us.We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to one of the residences of the Appart'City group.Best regards,

    Just, ok..

    rating13 Nov 2016

Well it's definitely not the Ritz and for one nights stay compared with our previous nights accomdation it was definitely a step up. Frustrating that basic cleaning isn't able to be accomplished especially when you're asked to clean the kitchen yourself otherwise you're charged additional fee! Clearly they don't check because we had to clean the cutlery before using them because they were sticky and dirty! Cobwebs all round the room, thick enough to make a blanket, grubby underneath the sink, dusty and dirty around edging etc... Just cleanliness in general! Bed was comfy and warm and the staff were accomdating and friendly.
