  Great choice in the Old Port and walkable from the SNCF Gare

  Great location in the heart of the old port area. Comfy bed and friendly, helpful front desk staff. One of the best 3 star hotels in which we have stayed in France. Our second visit and hope to come back for a third.   Really nice Hotel. Stuff at reception are very friendly. They offered us a juice. We had a nice room with a balcony with a beautiful view. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast was really good they have lots of variety. Hotel has no parking but there are a few underground parking 10-15 min walk.   A great hotel with amazing port views

  This is our second stay at this lovely 3 star hotel which has been refurbished since our previous stay 3 years ago. We chose a balcony room with a view of the old port, and what a beautiful view it is to wake up to each morning. The staff are super helpful and polite, they do all they can to help make your stay enjoyable. We were there for 9 nights and during that time received 2 handwritten notes with a mini box of chocolates each time, a nice touch. Special mention goes to Catherine who speaks English like a native. It was Easter holidays in France when we stayed so La Rochelle was its usual lively and noisy self. The room was good at shutting out the noise from outside, although sound from other rooms can be heard a little. We didn’t try the breakfast as the dining room is pretty small and the tables close together.We were fortunate in that the weather was very warm during our holiday, however the air conditioning doesn’t seem to be turned on until 1st May so the room was hot during the early part of our stay. The staff arranged reliable transfers to and from the airport. We would recommend this hotel and hope to visit lovely La Rochelle and this hotel again soon!   Quite French hotel overlooking the harbor. We had the harbor view, a must!! The bathroom is strange, very narrow passage to loo. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly. WiFi is free and complementary water in mini fridge. Lovely balcony to view the harbor and old fortress.
